Before and after Ceremony of the keys

Hey I came home to a bit of sunshine on this snowfilled winterday,

the tickets for the keys ceremony was in the mailbox.

We will be going on friday the 9. of April does anybody have any idea what to do afterwards perhaps a god pub in the area.

Before the ceremony, I would go to the Liberty Bounds pub (see the map here)


as there is an excellent view of the Tower from the top floor of the pub. It is part of the Wetherspoons chain of pubs, so you can also get inexpensive meals here.

Afterwards there is no reason to stay in the area. Go back to Tower Hill underground station and take a train to the Embankment (less than 15 minutes) where are are many restaurants and pubs, including "Gordon's Wine Bar".
