metro.co.uk/news/826544-new-london-routemast…

Not too sure I like the front end but otherwise that is a superb design! Fun, VERY distinctive, a great improvement on the bendy-buses and an ever-present reminder that London, as well as being full of history and tradition, is also a fast-evolving and progressive city.

You've got to pay for new buses, whatever the design. I think it's quite nice.

Very distinctive. A true London's icon. This city has to keep this kind of symbols. I could not think of London without double decker buses.

I think it looks rather good. If it's being paid for by public funding though, will it ever become reality in these days of glooming austerity? I assume there has been a case made for its long term cost effectiveness?
