We're staying in London for two weeks. We've been on the various Cotswolds tours with Gray Line and others to the various sites. We sort of feel like we get short changed time wise with all the travelling that the bus does and want to just visit our favorite places and stay for a couple hours where the bus stops are only 30 minutes in the various towns. Not to mention the bus feels very cramped (I am 6').
I don't want to rent a car in Cotswolds. Are there taxis that we can get from Moreton in the marsh to say Bourton on the water and back to catch a train to London? I know there are buses, but it seems like the scheduling may not be as efficient as zipping around in a taxi.
Also, is the train ride picturesque?Edited: 18 May 2010, 14:10
