Last Saturday we had a Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shop open in Southend - I understand there is one in Hampstead - there may be others.

There's also Suck and Chew on Columbia Road - one of the many fun shops to browse if you go to the flower market on Sunday.

A Gold in Brushfield Street have some old style sweeties; Villandry sell some Hope & Greenwood products (but yikes, they're pricey).

Small shops tucked away in residential areas may have jars of sweets behind the counter, and often will have a large selection of things like individual fingers of Fudge (now priced at 17p, a rise from 15p earlier this year), sherbet fountains, Fruit Salad stick packets, small bars of Highland Toffee, Poppets and more.

There's Mr Humbug in Greenwich Market.

Is A Gold in Spitalfields the shop that is owned by Jeanette Winterson?

Verde is Ms Winterson's shop, just next door to A Gold (the former haberdashery sign was retained for the current iteration of that shop).

Not London, but if you are visiting Windsor there is one in the covered area of the train station opposite the castle.
