Large scale 3D model of London

I went to an event yesterday at the Building Centre just off Tottenham Court Road, and was struck by a very large scale 3D model of the city they have in their main foyer:

www.newlondonarchitecture.org/exhibition.php…

It's very impressive and gives a great overview of the central section of the city - strikes me from many of the posts on this forum that it's something that a few people might find interesting. Even knowing the city as well as I do, I was struck by a few things that were surprising - quite how much green space there is in Bloomsbury, for a start

Went to see that a few months back and it's a very interesting display. Around the surrounding walls are breakdowns on building projects in individual London boroughs.

The model needs to be updated though, quite a few major developments have been missed off.

Is this the model that used to live in the City Hall once upon a time?

I think it has been updated. I didn't see anything missing yesterday (and I am in the "trade" sort of, so have a pretty good idea of what's built, what's got permission and what's not)

Tinsey, not sure if it used to live in City Hall, I never saw that one
