Royal Mews or Windsor Castle

Changing circumstances have allowed me an extra day in London. I will arrive into Gatwick at 4 AM on June 3rd and then go directly to my friends Mum's house in Woking where I will be staying. After a short morning nap, I'm thinking to either go to Windsor or into London to check out the Royal Mews. Which would you choose?

I think there is more to do at Windsor Castle, and Windsor itself is a pretty town to walk around.

Having said that, once you are in London you can add other attractions to your list and make a day of it.

I'd opt for Windsor, too. The Royal Mews only takes about an hour to see and you may be able to squeeze that in somewhere else in your itinerary.

(Traveling on arrival day may be a bit much, though.)

Windsor! You can visit the Castle, walk in Windsor Great Park, stroll along the Thames and feed the swans, cross the bridge and see Eton.

Please feel free to ask any questions you might have about Windsor on the Windsor forum.
