Unusual/quirky afternoon tea

We will be in London for a weekend in August and would like to have afternoon tea. We had been hoping to go to The Berkeley for their fashion-themed afternoon tea which looks amazing but have just discovered it is completely booked for that weekend! Can anyone recommend a similarly quirky place for afternoon tea?

Chic and shock at the Connaught is very good. The stickies and sandwiches are modern rather than traditional.

St. Pancras Renaissance? I noticed they do afternoon tea (don't know about cost or quality) but if you contact the hotel historian, you might be able to get on one of his historical tours - it is an AAmazing building, and he is very knowledgable and funny and a great enthusiast.
