London Travel Card/Friends & Family Railcard

We are coming to London Tues-Sun (5 full days / 5 nights) at the end of August & need advice regarding the Travelcard & The Family & Friends Railcard.

We were planning to purchase the 7 day travel pass for zones 1&2 @ £27.60 each however we have a Family/Friends Rail card & can't work out if there is a cheaper way of buying a pass-the site doesn't make it very clear!

Also I notice on London Transport site some of the tickets are out of stock to buy on line-is this likely to be the case at Eurston when we arrive or will they have plenty of stock?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Friends & Families doesn't qualify for discounts on Oystercard PAYG or Travelcards

But as you are travelling by train your train tickets qualify for the 2-4-1 offers - after all the daysoutguide.com website is set up by the train companies

Many Thanks, I thought this would be the case but the FF site isn't too clear-the 7 day pass is a very good price though.

Kind Regards

Remember to hang on to your inward journey train tickets ie do not surrender them when you arrive in London. You will need to show them when claiming the 2 for 1 entry fees.

You need not buy any Travelcards before arriving in London.

If you buy seven day cards at the Euston Underground station they will be sold to you loaded on Oyster cards. The £5 deposit for each Oyster is refundable when you hand in the card at the end of your stay in the capital, but you can hang on to them as well and give them to friends to use if they wish to visit.

You may also add a bit of PAYG money to the Oyster cards if you wish to travel outside zones 1 and 2.
