Last Bloomsbury B&B picks

I'm down to two... Leigh House Hotel (£105) and Thanet Hotel (£115). Pictures for Leigh house look small rooms, but upgraded bathrooms (a plus!), however reviews mention some street noise. Thanet looks good as well, a bit further south but only by a few streets.

Thoughts?

What constitutes Bloomsbury seeems to be wide open to interpretation.

The Thanet is in the heart of Bloomsbury but the Leigh House at Cartwright Gardens half way to Kings Cross.

Not sure when you are coming and what you expect from a B&B but both look a full price. Once you get up towards Cartwright Gardens you should be getting a better rate if you are coming at the weekends.

Personally I would check out prices of 'proper hotels and apartments'.

Ibis Euston and Premier inn Euston and the Euro Hotel and Studios 2 Let apartments at Cartwright Gardens may all be cheaper than these rates and if so would offer better value

The Arran House and Arosfa also have their admirers.

By going a 5 minute further walk to Kings Cross/St Pancras which also is sometimes called Bloomsbury by hotels who have attended the Ryanair school of marketing there are quite good simple 'B&B' style places like the Alhambra for around 80 GBP.

The Thanet Hotel is a good budget choice if position is paramount in your accommodation choice.

Thanks for the suggestions. We are staying a Friday - Weds. The ibis and premier were actually about the same rates, £115/night or more. I think based on location Thanet is best then!
