rental during Olympic Games

Hi all :)

I will be in London volunteering during the OG and I am desperately looking for an accomodation/room share... apparently it seems to be very difficult and quite expensive :(

Can you suggest me a good site, other than gum tree (I am already looking there but since I am not in UK but in Italy, I am a little bit "affraid" of what I might be offered), B&B or anything else where I can look for a flatmate? I will be staying only 2 weeks, but I don't want to pay all the amount of money I have just earned ;)

Thanks all for your help, I am sure somebody will be able to give me good news :D :D

All sorts of info coming in from colleagues in the coaching industry, mainly about accomodation.

Speaking to one driver on Sunday and he was telling me coach drivers are being brought down from Scotland and having to have accomodation at Reading and then travel into London each day to get their vehicles before they start work.

Another, who will be co-ordinating buses and lives in Cornwall will be working at Hackney Marsh and will be staying at Southend as it is the nearest they can get for the staff.

Latest rumour is a cruise ship is being brought up the Thames to give more accomodation.

How true that last one is I don't know but it sounds like somebody boobed badly on the logistics for the staff providing the transport.

The wages are pretty handy as well for those being paid to work there.

Thanks a lot for the answers and thank for the link, I didn't know there was a forum for accomodation :)
