Bump.

At first glance this looks fairly sensible but hopefully someone with a bit more time can take a look and spot anything glaringly wrong.

My favourite pub within walking distance of Covent Garden Market is the Marquess of Anglesey but there are plenty of other options.

Day 1 you've got two sit down and tour things to do - bus tour and river tour. Maybe deliberate because you may have jet lag. But on Saturday you have Tower of London and British Museum - both take a lot of walking - and you could spend a good 3 hrs in each.

Personally, I'd put the British Museum on day one with your bus tour. Look at the British Museum guide online and decide what you want to see to make the most of your time - it's easy to spend a long time wandering in there.

Then add your river tour to the day you visit the tower. The best way to approach the tower is from the river, and you could use the Thames Clipper to explore different parts of London from the river - including the Tower.

Thanks everyone for responses! We will try to rearange some things. The Thames cruise comes free with a bus tour. Does anyone know if it has to be taken the same day as the hop on hop off? Does it have an expiration?

I think the cruise has to be taken within 24 hours so not necessarily the same day but certainly within 24 hours of you starting to use the bus. I'm not sure how carefully they check the tickets though.

Maybe you could book your bus tour separately? Then use Thames Clippers (or similar - there are other river tours available) on a different day. Although you don't get a commentary with Thames Clippers, I like the way you can hop on and off and explore different parts of London from the river. Tower of London, St Paul's, Greenwich, London Eye etc..

Day 3 - I'd leave for the airport earlier. Past experience speaking.......your timing would make me tense.
