Heathrow Free Bus

Hi all,

We are staying at the Ibis Heathrow on Bath Road overnight. We land at terminal 5 and are taking the 423 bus. We have to get to terminal 3 the next morning for a 9:30 international flight. I know we can take the 105 or the 111 bus to the central station. My question is how often do these busses run and is there a timetable somewhere? It will be a Sunday morning. I want to be sure I am at the airport in plenty of time! Thanks so much!

The Ibis is located just outside the free bus zone, so you'll have to pay £2.35 for the ticket each way. Either that, or make sure you get off/on the bus at the Harlington Corner or New Road stop(s), which are inside the zone, rather than Nobel Drive. In fact, heading back to the airport, Harlington Corner is nearer anyway.

Here are the timetables from Harlington Corner to Heathrow Central (from Harlington Corner you also have the 140) -

111 - …tfl.gov.uk/user/AHF/TLJJP02P1__0000435a.pdf

The links to those PDFs only work for the person who creates them - to see the timetables go to http://www.tfl.gov.uk/gettingaround/4867.aspx under "Bus timetable - route number" enter either 105, 111 or 140, then choose 'towards Heathrow Central', then 'Harlington Corner (UB3)' on the next page.

They're working for me. The full file names are preceded with "http://journeyplanner." (journeyplanner <dot>) in front of the tfl.gov.uk.

Although the Ibis is outside the free zone, the bus stop by the Holiday Inn Ariel used for the Ibis is the last bus stop in the free zone.

Going into the airport you have to walk about 300 yrads to the bus stop which is well inside the free zone.

@handfordr Many thanks that's great information as I'm planning to stay at the Holiday Inn Ariel for a Saturday night with early morning flight around 9.30 am in December...which means leaving around 6 am...

Do you know when the 1st bus runs to Terminal 123 on the morning ?.....alternatively I could use the "hoppa" bus which I gather is around £4.50...though I'm loath to paying £9 returnn
