Pub lunch near London Bridge hotel

We are staying at London Bridge hotel.

Can anyone recommend a pub in this area that serves good food?

Thanks.

You are next door to one of the best food markets in the UK. Wander round it, and you'll find about 6 good pubs (plus about 50 al fresco eating options. There's probably another 12 or so pubs within 10 minutes walk.

Borough Market is definitely worth a look (but is only open Thurs, Fri and Sat)

You could also try the Market Porter:

You are not far from the George - a national trust property and truly unique pub.

www.nationaltrust.org.uk/george-inn/ The food is fine but the experience is great.

Although the main market is fully open Thursday - Saturday, many stalls and all the pubs/cafes around it, are open every day.
