Go to Google maps or walkit dot com, both will tell you the answer and you can put intermediate stops in etc.
If you walk up Charing Cross Road to Leicester Square then walk back along Long Acre or Floral Street to Covent Garden, you could make that journey in about 15 minutes if quick, 20 - 25 if a slow meander.
Great, thanks guys. I'll try google maps as well.
Didnt want to try to fit too much into one day but that seems fairly quick so will add in some other things too. Obviously will leave some time for some shopping too. ;-)
It was not a long walk for me. There's also a park in Leicester Square where you can sit and rest if you need to. Whenever I'm in London, I do a similar walk almost everyday. I'm a New Yorker though, and we're used to walking.
You can also try MapQuest..
They are all really close to each other. Near Chinatown too
The 15, 23 and lots of others go that way.
Come and enjoy.
I've walked it myself, it's not that hard a walk and is pretty much a straight line in my experience.
I know a short cut down the back roads off Strand - could probably walk it in 7 or 8 minutes.
Maybe that's what I did - I did pass a theatre in the process.
Really quick walk, about 15-20 min, and plenty to see along the way
