leaving luggage at Tate Britain

Is it possible to leave one reasonable large case in cloakroom at Tate Britain, or do I have to find left luggage facility elsewhere? Thanks

If they take large bags in the cloakroom (whcih they say they do) I would assume the answer is yes, although I've not done it:

Maybe give them a call (number on the above link) to confirm?

Someone mentioned that most of Tate Britain is currently closed off for redevelopment until the middle of next year. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

You could put it in left luggage at Waterloo Station.

Glyn,

There is work going on but I think you are thinking of the Imperial War Museum.

There is a lot of work going on at Tate Britain but the cloakroom is still operating. The main difference a casual visitor will notice is that the Millbank entrance is closed (come and go via Atterbury Street) and the large cafe area on the ground floor is shut, and replaced with a much smaller room upstairs. If you're going for the Pre-Raphaelites, try and do so as close to opening time as you can. It's very busy, even on weekdays so I dread to think what it's like at weekends.

If I was you, I would ring them and check. Just to be on the safe side.

Nice suggestion, apart from the minor fact that the OP had a ticket for 10am this morning :-)
