When in the UK

the date is number of the date/ month of the date/ year ie. 13/04/1978 is 13th April 1978- I used to get into trouble at school for doing it "The American way"

This may turn a lightbulb to anyone who struggle with UK web-sites.......

1. Re: When in the UK

I actually prefer writing dates date/month/year, but with the month as 3 letters. As a travel agent for many years, I got used to doing it that way (most res systems require it) and it makes sense to anyone who sees it, as in: 12APR06.
