EPL tickets in March, tips?

Any advice for getting tickets for either game on 16 March (Chelsea v West Ham or Tottenham Fulham) or even Southampton v Liverpool? We seem unable to join any club on-line and it doesn't appear that tickets are on sale right now unless you are a club member. Buying through Thomas Cook is out of our price range. A hotel suggested we try livefootballtickets.com but I'm not convinced those are legitimate tickets, are they?

Any ideas besides calling the clubs to buy tickets? (that's what we did 2 years ago)

Chelsea vs West Ham go on general sale on 18th Feb. London derbies are usually sell outs, but you never know - log in early and try your luck.

Don't try any other dubious website, too risky and they will rip you off pricewise.

Options outside the Premier League are poor with the only London game in the Championship being the local derby between Charlton and Millwall - one to avoid.

The League One games that day at Brentford (the only ground in the country to have a pub on each corner) and Leyton Orient will offer the chance to see a decent standard of football at reasonable prices.

If you're prepared to travel as far as Southampton, then you might consider taking the train to Birmingham (similar time & distance) and going to watch Aston Villa v QPR on 16 March. Villa Park is a big ground, the club have a big following and this will be a crunch match for both teams who are fighting to avoid relegation. Villa have a decent strike force, but can't defend for toffee, and QPR have some decent players, but desperately need to win, so I would expect a passionate atmosphere (in a nice way) and plenty of goals. Tickets go on general sale next Weds, and Villa struggle to sell out (they usually get around 32- 33k fans) so I don't think you'd have any trouble getting tickets.

Yeah if you willing to go as far as Southampton you could get to Liverpool in a couple of hrs. Everton vs Man city is a 12.45 kick-off on march 16th and you would have no problem getting a ticket. Check the Everton website(your'll prob be able to print your ticket off). The tickets would be cheaper than the london games and you'd get to watch one of the biggest games of the wkend.
