Thankyou Sandy at Plymouth, will look it up to see what it looks like now. My husband and i travelled toStratford upon Avon directly from the Paddington station the next day for our holliday, we were so impressed by the station itself ands were most comfortable overnight at the hotel. wonderful memories! If you are planning to visit Stratford on Avon again you can no longer get a direct train from Paddington - they now go from Marylebone.

You can still travel from Paddington, but at least one change is needed and normally two.

Now you have your answer, I strongly suggest you delete this thread. Writing your full name on a public forum is asking for trouble.
