During our upcoming summer stay in Canary Wharf, hoping for some sun, we'd love to explore its northbank Thames Path on foot / by bike, to enjoy the views across the river, looking from the Isle of Dogs.
We have previously walked along the Southern Thames bank in Bermondsey and Rotherhithe, where the path makes a traffic-free, non-stop walk, ideally relaxing on a sunny day. This time around, I'm trying to map out a brief traject along the northern river edges looping around the Docklands, preferably by bike.
But my searching on Google earth, Streetview, and tfl Bike Maps, hasn't revealed if the footpath along the river is continuous there. It looks like we may have to keep making turns onto the regular streets, in which case it'd probably be wiser no to plan this by bicycle?
Can any of you local folks enlighten us please?
