How long does it take: Dublin Airport to Shelbourne Hotel?

My previous message got booted by the admin, not sure why. Hope this one goes through. Trying to decide on what flight to get from Heathrow, and would like to base it on how long it takes to get through customs as an American in Dublin, and then hiring a taxi or a shuttle into Dublin. We're staying at the Shelbourne.

Thanks!

Flights between the UK and Ireland are domestic flights, you will clear customs and immigration at Heathrow airport.

Dublin isn't in the UK, let alone London - so post in the Ireland forum

It got removed because it was about how to get from DUBLIN airport to a hotel in DUBLIN, this is the London forum, not only the wrong city but the wrong country entirely. This will probably also be removed, post in the Dublin forum,

You will clear customs and immigration at Heathrow, the flight to Ireland is effectively a domestic flight with minimal formalities required.
