Disabled transit

I am disabled and cannot use stairs. I would like to visit the Tower of London and London Eye, and will be at the Ibis Hotel on Rockley Road in Shepherd's Bush. Could anyone advise on public transport by bus or river boat. Thanks.

The generic answer to your question is the journey planner at the right of www.tfl.gov.uk. Press "more options" and a popup appears allowing you to select from a range of accessibility choices.

Don't assume, especially in lengthy cross-town journeys, that a bus is the only step free option. Or that boats are always step free.

As a disabled person you can pre book the London Eye and your carer (any companion or friend with you) comes free. They also have a ticket which includes a trip on the Thames. All information is on their website.

I really don't think that the Tower of London will be suitable for you. You may be better off trying another attraction like Hampton Court Palace which is more accessible.
