my cousin has come over for 3 weeks and they stamp his passport 6 months and now he has been here for 5 months i want to know if there possible for extention for 2 more months and how do i go about it he is from st lucia,

You need to seek advice. UK Immigration Law is extremely complex and a lot will hinge on why he is seeking to remain in the UK beyond the date at which he is currently required to leave.

Adding to what wirewiper said in post 1, the relevant page on the UK Border Agency website seems to be this one …homeoffice.gov.uk/visas-immigration/…

It says that visitors *in most cases* cannot extend their permission to stay ... but read it and see if it says anything that is relevant to your cousin's situation.

I think they would want to know why he wants the extension and what he will be living on. Most people, unless they are retired, have a job to go home to, and Immigration will certainly be concerned that he does not seem to have a job back home, as to them that increases the likelihood that he is working here illegally.
