Thinking of a trip to London this July. The hotel we normally stay at does not have AC. It's one of those rowhouses (not sure what the British term is for those) converted into a hotel. We may just stay somewhere else, but I know DD will want to stay there. She seems to be immune to heat, but I'm not.
They're pretty good about giving me a room in the part of the hotel I request, so is there a part of the hotel that's likely to be cooler? A room on an upper floor, or a room in the basement, for example? I'm pretty sure they'll provide a fan.
Of course, I was there last July and it was only hot for the last 2 days of my 2.5 week trip, so it may be irrelevant, but just in case...
