help required, stop off after a long contract at sea

Hi, my friends are leaving the ship they work on in Tilbury and will get the train into London, they are having 4 nights in London, needing to be near the victorious line which easier to get them home to Scotland. Any budget hotel recommendations?

oh I love it ... the Victorious line !!!

sorry cathco, don't mean to be rude, it just tickled my funny bone

(it's the Victoria line btw)

if you do a search, the subject of hotels in the Kings Cross and Euston areas regularly comes up and you should get some good tips ... this would probably be the best area for your friends as it's convenient to whichever train they need to get to Scotland

Go the list of FAQs that are third from the top of the main list, and there are some suggestions under the question: "CAN YOU RECOMMEND AN INEXPENSIVE, CENTRALLY LOCATED LONDON HOTEL?"

If they're travelling from Euston station or Kings Cross station, then anywhere near the Piccadilly Line or the Northern Line will also be OK, because the stations are very near to each other.
