Bank of England locations in Scotland

This may be a silly question, but curious to know of any Bank of England locations in Scotland that would allow exchange of retired currency for new currency. Thank you in advance.

There are no branches of the Bank of England in Scotland. It is the central bank

Confusingly, you will find branches of the Bank of Scotland in England. BoS isn't a central bank, but a regular High Street clearing bank

By the way, there is a Bank of England office in Glasgow, but it doesn't handle exchange of old currency.

The Edinburgh or Glasgow forums will have the best information. But you could take your banknotes into any bank and ask for their specialist advice.
