Lunch for students near the Globe?

Any suggestions for a quick lunch for 35 students and teachers near the Globe? We will finish one of their "Lively Actions" student workshops around noon and I know they'll be famished!

We book our students into the Pizza Express. They are well able to handle the large numbers. In fact we took a party of 65 there last Wednesday.

Depending on the age of the students, you could also walk down to Borough Market. It's less than 10 minutes. There are a good selection of stalls where you can buy food. The market is open for lunch Monday to Saturday

As hobnob1970 said, Pizza Express is practically next door. With a group that size, you must book in advance though

There are several chain restaurants next door to the globe (pizza express, strada, big fat Greek, etc.) that will do main course and drink for not much more than £10.

There is also an eat if it's a nice day and people just want sandwiches.

All of these places are very 'generic' and work for feeding people but not much experience. For better food/experience head to borough market - the full market is Thursday to Saturday but there are a few stalls all week. Here there is some amazing food which with drink will cost somewhere around £5-7 (depending on food chosen). Borough market is only an option for older groups as it gets pretty busy and you'll need to employ the 'you've got x minutes before meeting me back here' tactic. Even with a group this is less than 10 mins walk away and if you're using public transport likely to be on way to station

If I'm in that area there's no choice. The Real Greek. It's absolutely superb and will do your students very well. About 2 minutes walk.
