There is a direct train from Gatwick to St Pancras. It takes about 53 minutes.

The single off peak fare appears to be £10. What time are you arriving?

In normal circumstances you can. But between now and 2018 (yes, the next four years...) there will be lots of engineering work that will disrupt this route. So we need to check your actual arrival date and time. When is this trip?

August 9th is a Saturday so there might be engineering works but you will have to check back nearer the time to see if that is the case.

It's a bit early to know what changes are likely as far ahead as that. - it's not in any 'key dates' period though so should probably be 'normal'

It's a Saturday, so trains won't be as busy as in the week

I'm pretty sure there is another option to/from London Bridge station and then continuing via the Northern Line to Kings Cross and Euston. Not sure if it's cheaper.

All the trains that call at London Bridge continue on to St Pancras. The fare is the same to London Bridge and St Pancras, so all changing to the Northern Line does is add hassle and expense.
