travel by bus from kings cross to hyde park

I need to go to a training meeting on wednesday at 10.00am at the Lancaster Gate Hotel near Bayswater Road in London, near Hyde park.

I do not wish to use the tubes, so was wondering if anyone could tell me buses or would it better to get a taxi? werent sure how much taxis cost. Thank You.x

The 390 will take you from KX to Lancaster Gate for £2.40 cash or £1.35 using PAYG on Oyster. Stop R is about two minutes' walk from KX Arrivals: tfl.gov.uk/gettingaround/maps/buses/pdf/king… Alight at Leinster Terrace, stop LG here: tfl.gov.uk/gettingaround/maps/buses/pdf/lanc…

The 390 travels the length of Oxford Street, which may slow the journey a bit. The alternative is to take the 205 from stop R to Paddington and walk from there, but I would stay with the 390.

Taxi fare will depend on traffic, perhaps £12 - 15.

I use the 205 quite a lot, but in this instance, I'm with TP and the 390.
