We are a young couple from India, on a visit to London/Edinburg from 14th - 23rd december. We land at London Heathrow Terminal 3 late evening on 14th Dec ( Sat)
We will be staying 6 nights in London and 4 nights at Edinburg.
Based on our research and budget the three hotels we shortlisted are
1) Premier Inn Waterloo ( Avg. Rate GBP 105) 2) IBIS Styles Southwark ( Avg. Rate GBP 95) 3) Hotel Rhodes near Paddington ( Avg Rate GBP 88 ) . Both Rhodes and IBIS have breakfast free while Premier Inn does not.
May i request those who have stayed in or are aware of these hotels and the location suggest which among these would be a better choice.
We liked premier Inn waterloo based on the positive reviews and also its proximity to the river thames and trafalgar square among other things. Since it gets dark early we thought it would be nice to take a walk in the evening to these locations. Only negative is there is no breakfast included in the price which IBIS and Rhodes offer at lesser cost...hence the confusion.
Since we will be landing in London late evening on 14th Dec , we are looking at staying overnight at Holiday Inn at heathrow and proceed next morning to our hotel @ central london . Does this make sense? Especially considering the above three hotels are higher priced for Saturday.
