Staying In Islington For A Week.Ideas where to eat/breakfast

Hi,

We are a family consisting of 4 adults and 1 infant of 1yr old and are traveling to Islington next March 2014. Our visit is mainly to visit London. We will be staying near Archway Tube Station. Any ideas where we can take not expensive breakfast and some inexpensive dine outs bearing in mind we'll have a toddler with us. Also any ideas regarding places of interests/parks in the vicinity. Will appreciate all your help. Thanks

Have you got a postcode for where you are staying? Archway itself doesn't have a huge amount of choice but in the surrounding areas there are lots of good breakfast places.

There is a nice park at the top of Highgate Hill called Waterlow park. Just a bit further up you have Highgate Village with quite a few restaurants, including the famous Flask pub.

At the top of Holloway Road there is an excellent Italian restaurant called Restaurant 500. There are also lotsof café type places in the vicinity. Easy access on a number 43 bus to the many restaurants in Upper Street, Islington or a number 41 bus to Crouch End.
