Gatwick to Uxbridge Road, Hayes

I need to make a one way trip from Gatwick to Uxbridge road and it seems I have a couple of choices:

1. Take the national express to Heathrow and then a taxi to Uxbridge road.

2. Train to London and a couple of underground trains out to Southall. And then a taxi to Uxbridge road.

What would you guys recommend?

Thanks

It would be a Saturday morning about. 8 ish in January, with no baggage.

The National Express coaches go to both T5 and the central bus station. If you got off at T5 (the first stop) you could easily catch a 482 that would terminate in Southall, a shortish walk or an even shorter bus journey from your final destination.

These run every 20 minutes on a Saturday but could take up to an hour so you might prefer to take a taxi which would probably cost about £30.

On the other hand the route via central London and Southall station would certainly be cheaper and take no longer

That postcode looks to be entirely business addresses - you have checked the one you are visiting is open on Saturdays? Apologies for asking but better safe than sorry.

Thanks all, thnk I will go for the national express and then a taxi and it seems to be the easier option. I am going to a garage to collect a car, so yes they will be open :)

Just a thought, which would be the best terminal to get off at? Thanks

Terminal 5.

It's the first stop and the coach will drop you very close to the taxi rank. If you go to the Central bus station then you will need to walk to a terminal (1 or 3) in order to catch a taxi.
