Olympic Park June 2014

I see that the reconstruction in the Olympic Park should be completed by Easter 2014 and "open to the public".

We last saw the park from a distance in July 2012 just as the athletes were beginning to arrive.

Now on our return to London (family of 7) in June, we would like to WALK through the park, look at the outside of the stadium and just maybe swim in the pool. We don't need a tour.

Is this possible?

There will be construction works going on at the stadium, so not sure how close you will get.

You can see quite a bit from the parts of the park that have been opened to the public, but there are still massive works going on behind wire fences. This may alter during 2014, but it's worth going along to have a look.

By June 2014 you will be able to do all the things you asked about.
