B&B near Alexandra Palace for a two night Summer in the City

Hi

Can anybody recommend a decent / good value BB for the above? I have seen the Alexandra Palace B&B online, has anyone stayed there? could you recommend it?

Saw this languishing at the bottom of page two and thought it worthy of a bump.

I don't know the area well but I do know that some of the hotels and B&B in and around that part of north London are pretty grotty. The one you mention doesn't look too bad but I would also look in and around Euston and Kings Cross. Bus, tube and train links to Ally Pally are fairly good and there is wide range of accommodation to suit most pockets.

I've stayed at the White Lodge which, while not right next door, is not far away. It's a clean, friendly guest house.

Hotels are quite thin on the ground in the immediate area but the transport options mean that you don't really have to stay on the doorstep.

There are a few small hotels and possibly B&Bs in Muswell hill which is a pleasant area and just down the road.

The Queens hotel and the Roseview hotel spring to mind, both on Queens Ave.
