First time in London and I am looking for a hotel type set up with apart style living where we can have a small kitchen and hopefully washer/dryer.

I'd like something modern/luxury.

Is there anything like this?

Many thanks for your help!

'Is there anything like this?' Yes.

Have a look at Club Quarters St Paul's, Lincoln's Inn Fields and Gracechurch Street. The Queen Street location of www.marlinapartments.com is well situated, and if the flats are like those at the other locations (and I am fairly certain they are) then it's one to consider.

Citadines have several locations, and although Trafalgar Square is very central, I think the St Mark's and South Kensington locations are well worth a look as well.

See what you think of The Mansions at Earl's Court and the Barkston Gardens (Kensington) location of www.presidentialapartmentslondon.com

We stayed at Dolphin Mansions Pimlico, and this ticked all the boxes you require.

Staybridge Suites at Stratford (7-8 min by tube from z1) might suit and be a little cheaper
