Area With The Best Pubs

Hi,

Coming for one night only with a friend.

We want to know the area with the best traditional pubs. No Yates, wetherspoons etc.

Regards

Slight feeling of déjà vu! :-)

To get "better"answers you will need to provide a bit more info. What do you want in a traditional pub, besides it not being a Wetherspoons?

There is no such thing as an area with the best pubs, they are dotted all over.

Where you are staying might also make a difference. Not much point in recommending a gem of a pub if it will take 2 hours on public transport to get there.

A single recommendation: crawl from Lamb and Flag in Rose Street Covent Gardien, to the Round house opposite, to the Salisbury, to the Harp, to the Lemon Tree, to the Nell Gwynn. By now you will be screaming for a wetherspoons.
