Pizza in Great Britain ?

The best pizza we've had in Europe was in Vienna.

We will be in London, Bath, The Lakes and Cotswalds and Edinbourgh in June. Although we do not eat it very often, its nice to splurge on pizza every once in a while. Anyone found a good, fresh ingredients slice of pizza in any of these locations? Thanks for your input.

I'm sorry. I see now that with a little bit of searching, my question has been answered previously. BUT if you have any other outstanding contributions, feel free.......

Are you looking for proper pizza or the kind that they make in the US? ;)

Pardon me but there is a lot of proper pizza in the US, that's an unfair generalization.

You don't need to splurge on pizza. It's cheap stuff, student food, pound a slice, an inexpensive meal like kebabs or pie and chips.

The best pizza I've had in London was at Fratelli la Bufala. The pizzas are cooked in a wood burning oven and are very authentic. The restaurant has a great menu, with lots of other options that all looked really good.

We ate at the location just around the corner from Piccadilly Circus, on Shaftsbury Avenue (it's tourist hell over there but don't let that frighten you).

What's wrong with Pizza from a " chain restaurant"

Dominos ?

Is that not good

Pizza Express

Pizza Hut

In fact most people's take/ experience of pizza is from one of the above

I lke the make your own pizza from a leading supermarket two for four quid

Very nice

And BTW I can make pizza at home from scratch but its too much faf when you can gt as good delivered quicker
