Walk to Victoria station and get the tube. If time is not a factor, get the 73 bus.

Are you coming from Gatwick? If so you shouldn't go to Victoria, you should take a First Capital Connect train direct to St. Pancras, which is next door.

Well the tube is easy - you just get on at VIctoria and off at Kings Cross which is clear from the platform signs and announcements. With the bus you are getting on at the beginning so you should have room for bags and a buggy but it gets quite busy on buses and as mentioned it's slow esp along Oxtord St.

If you have a buggy and two suitcases you might want to consider a taxi.

It could cost about £20, but it would certainly be less stress for you.

------

These aren't necessarily the same but I suggest you get a cab as mentioned above by Paul Duncan , might cost an extra tenner or so but doesn't involve lugging luggage or finding anything or messing about with buses and bus stops, or up and down escalators with all your stuff.

Suitcases ... buggy ... baby ... youngster ... stressed husband - there is only one answer, get a taxi. Or, if you want to save a fiver, book a cab in advance.

Is this all booked yet? If your coach is delayed and you don't make it to St Pancras in time for your train to Eurostar, they are under no obligation to help you. However, you can book a through ticket from Wakefield which will offer protected connections.

Is there a big difference in the price of coach to London as compared to price of train to London? If it's about the same as coach + taxi (which would probably be the simplest way to transfer between Victoria Coach Station and St Pancras), then train down to Kings Cross and a short walk to St Pancras strikes me as the better option.
