"Museums at Night" special event in May

I recently discovered that one of the museums we hope to see in London (Apsley House) will be participating in the "Museums at Night" program on the day we plan to be there.

What's unclear from the information on the site is how this works -- is it a set event where you have to be there at starting time and follow the guide for the full 2 hours? Or is just special hours with special events (guides stationed in each room telling stories/offering activities?)

Other museums on our schedule are also open late that evening so we could make efficient use of the day even if we visited in the early afternoon, (as originally planned) but the special evening looks interesting -- if we're not committed to arriving promptly at 6.

Saw this languishing at the bottom of page two and thought it merited a bump.
