I have read about the National Rail 2-for-1 offers, but I still have a question.
We are planning to take a train from Waterloo station to Hampton Court Palace. Would our train tickets for this journey qualify for the 2-for-1 admission? I may be misunderstanding, but it sounds like one must use train tickets that are coming to London from somewhere outside of London to qualify for the 2-for-1 discount. But what about London to Hampton Court? Is Hampton Court considered still in London (zone 6?). Would we be better off getting one-day travel cards? If so, can the travel cards be used for train travel between Waterloo and Hampton Court? If not, how would we get there?
Thanks so much for your help!
