London transport

This April, we are going to London with a family of 5 (two adults, one child 13 year old , one 14 year old and one 17 years old). We do not want to get photo ID oyster cards for the kids, since it appears to be a bit of a hassle.

We will need the transportation for 5 days.

Thanks, in advance for your advice.

Are you wanting to take advantage of the 2for1 offers? If not then just get the adults Oyster Cards and load them with a 7 day Zone one Travlecard costing £31.40 and then get one day off peak paper cards for the kids.

These are only valid after 9.30 (all day at weekends) and cost £3.60 per day for the two younger children and £8.90 for older one.

How are you arriving and at what time? Plane (which airport?) train? You may need to pay a little more on arrival and departure days but we can't say for sure without knowing more.
