It's Piccadilly Circus - and not worth an hour each way in all honesty.

Even with luggage checked through it's not worth the hassle/cost for an hour/hour and a half if you''re lucky worrying about any glitches getting back.

Land at 10am, you need to allow an hour to get through Immigration then the Underground to Piccadilly Circus will take another hour so you would arrive there at 12pm at the earliest. As you need to be back at Heathrow by 1pm for your Lisbon flight, you won't have enough time for a quick pie.

Best to stay at Heathrow and search out a meat pie there. There are quite a few places in Terminal 5 than can fulfil your needs

5 hours is not enough time to get into London. A taxi to one of the local hostelries is your best bet but even then, if you are travelling on a non-EU passport, you realistically have only 2 hours.

Also, once you pass through UK immigration you absolve the airline of any responsibility for getting you to your final destination. Security is rigorous at UK airports, and Heathrow applies a minimum security clearance time of 35 minutes - that is the time prior to your flight that you must enter security; if you fail that you will not be allowed to enter. And it won't matter that suddenly a big queue built up that you weren't banking on.

The layover time is not enough to get to the center. You can find meat pies in Heathrow as well.

I do not see "meat pies" on the menu right now, but Gordon Ramsay's Plane Food in T5 should be worth the time: http://www.gordonramsay.com/planefood/menus/

Good luck,

Hi,

The 5 Tuns Pub at Heathrow Terminal 5 lists several Pies on their Menu.

If you are not arriving at T5 you can travel there on the Underground Railway.

There is a ranch of Eat. at Terminal 5 - good for an informally served pie ( I.e. In a box rather than on a plate!)
