National Express Bus to Bath From Terminal 3

We will be arriving into Terminal 5 and on the National Express website the bus to Bath with the best departure times leaves from Terminal 3. I have found directions to get to Terminal 3 on this site, now I need to know where the bus departs from outside of Terminal 3. We know Heathrow is a BIG airport and have fears of getting lost and missing our bus. Thank you!!

National Express coaches do not depart from T3 but from the Central Bus Station that is near T1 and T3.

If you will take the free HEX shuttle from T5 to Heathrow Central (for T1 and T3) then after alighting from the train follow the signs for the Underground station, as the Central Bus Station is above it. This sounds confusing but is not; it really is easier to do than to explain. There is a lift up from the subway (underground walkway) to the Central Bus Station. Once there it will be self explanatory.

Your flight from YVR will probably arrive at one of the T5 satellites, so be prepared for a trek of about 10 minutes to passport control and baggage collection. There are lifts down from T5 arrivals to the HEX station so step free access there; it is step free from the train at Heathrow Central to the CBS as well. Adding in a potential wait for the HEX and you should allow about 30 minutes from the time you leave the sterile area at T5 to reaching the CBS.

There is a possible alternative; get a coach from outside Terminal 5 to Bristol, which is only 13 miles from Bath.

The coaches arrive at the main bus station in the centre of Bristol, from where there are frequent and regular direct buses to the centre of Bath. You pay cash to the driver for the Bristol-Bath leg.
