No idea how to get around ... (Village boy)!

I am visiting London (Wembley stadium) on the 12th July this year. Unfortunately due to the vast unavailability of hotels due to there being a concert on, I have had to book a little out of the way.

Can anyone help me plan getting around?

We have a train to Wembley Central - Already booked (Arrives approx. 13:30)

We'll then have to go and check in to Ramada - Already booked (Ruislip HA4 0HG)

We then have to go to Wembley Stadium

And back to the Ramada

Then from the Ramada to Wembley Central

Literally have no idea what the best way of doing this is... I am on a relatively tight budget.

Thanks in advance for your help :)

I don't have the info you need, but am replying to bump up your post as no one has answered. Have you checked the London Tube planner (https://www.tfl.gov.uk/)?

If you look at this link there is a direct Railway Line from South Ruislip Station near your Hotel, to Wembley Central Station.

You mention 'we': will there be more than two adults in your party, and if there are any children travelling will they be under age 16? Do you plan to visit central London (aside from the train to Euston) or will you stay in the area around Wembley?

You may buy one day Travelcards or use PAYG on Oyster, with the latter a bit cheaper than the former. If you have friends or family members with Oyster cards then ask if you may borrow theirs and top up when in London. Travelcards and PAYG on Oyster may be used on the Underground, Overground and [local] National Rail services along with London red buses; PAYG use has a daily cap on fares depending on the zones in which one travels and whether your journeys will be made at peak or off peak times. One day Travelcards are good for use in zone 1 - 6 and are sold in peak and off peak flavours.

I find the new TfL website an unpleasant piece of work. Try http://origin.tfl.gov.uk for the unenhanced website as it may be more useful to you than the new site.

Chiltern Railways operate to Wembley Stadium station from South Ruislip but it's not that far from there to Wembley Central station anyway. Engineering works may be a problem at the weekends.

The railway line that AuldJimmy is seeing is actually a National Rail line (Chiltern Railways) to Wembley Stadium station (much nearer the stadium than Wembley Central). So you could walk from Central to Stadium (10 minutes) and take the train to South Ruislip. There are only 2 trains per hour on that route though. An alternative is to take the 83 bus to Hangar Lane and then the Central line to South Ruislip (36 minutes according to the TFL journey planner). - …tfl.gov.uk/gettingaround/maps/buses/pdf/wem…

For South Ruislip to the stadium and back definitely look at Chiltern Railways as the journey time is just a few minutes. But also check in case of engineering works. - http://www.chilternrailways.co.uk

You'll be able to use Oyster and travelcards on the Chiltern line.
