If you could only pick 1

So, after extensive research in guide books, TA reviews and forums, travels shows, pod casts, advice from friends and family who have traveled to London, etc.... we have filled our short 2.5 day itinerary up with all of the things we decided are top priority.

Because we want to leave time open to enjoy things slowly and have time to be spontaneous I only have enough time for one of the following attractions. Deciding which to choose has been difficult.

So TA community... which of these places would you pick if you could only pick 1 and why:

1) Parliament

2) Tower of London

3) Westminster Abbey

4) St. Paul's Cathedral

Tower of London - because as one of its marketing campaigns said a few years ago "The Tower IS London". It's beautiful to look at, packed with history (if those walls could talk) and one of my favourite views in the whole city.

Close second would be Westminster Abbey.

The Tower. it's a castle, the executed people there, etc.

Easy- the Tower, without a doubt.

I wouldn't go in any of them (expensive and too many tourists) - but I'd make sure I looked at all 4 from the outside in some detail

Tower. Although it does depend on your interests of course.

Tower of London for sure, there is nothing else like it and is the quintessential London site, IMO.

The Tower. So many different things to see there that are all unique to the UK.

The Tower of London. So much of London, and England's history is encapsulated there.

It would easily be the longest visit over the others.

I wouldn't bother if I were you. Save it for another trip. Just relax and soak up the atmosphere.

How did you arrive at those four, by the way?
