Define "best"

Most luxurious? Closest to the Houses of Parliament? Views of the River Thames? Well-supplied with fast food? Most tube stations within smallest radius?

If you haven't already, check this out: tripadvisor.com.au/ShowTopic-g186338-i17-k48…

Also this document provides a list of reputable agencies: tripadvisor.com.au/ShowTopic-g186338-i17-k48… (I could not get this to open at work but we are running a very old browser!!)

Years ago I stayed in Chelsea, a 10 minute walk from South Kensington tube station and it was lovely.

I've read a lot on here about TexScott's list of reputable agencies but when I go to the thread that supposedly has the link, I don't see it. I did, however, find his article which lists some companies and I just want to make sure I'm looking at the correct info as I try to plan our trip to London next summer. Thanks to all who help out on these boards!

Here's the article I found - is this the correct TexScott list or is there something else? Thanks! tripadvisor.com/Travel-g186338-c167501/Londo…

That is the right Tex.

This is the list we refer to (there maybe a more uptodate one but this is pretty comprehensive).

This is travel Zone 1 i.e Central London. bearing in mind you might be sightseeing/visiting museums and art galleries you may want to choose your accommodation near a tube station.

Also have you tried AirBnB?
