Undecided again

Hello everyone ,

Just added three days in London at the start of our european trip ,was hoping you could help me decide on accomodation

The intercontinental London Westminster looks pretty central or has any stayed at the new chevalier three quays apartments ,they looked beautiful, but about three km out of the city ,worried might bit a bit too far to walk to everything (right across from London tower. )both roughly the same price

Would appreciate any thoughts

Thanking you in advance

The Chevalier apartments are not 'out of the City'. They are on the eastern edge of the very central zone 1 and handy for transport, which, wherever you stay you will have to use. You will not be able to walk to everything.

It probably comes down to whether you want a hotel or apartment out of those two. You are more likely to find someone who can help with enquiries at a hotel (though don't bank on it. Many employees especially at international hotels probably know less about it than many of the regular guests).

Thank you for your prompt answer ,the apartments look roomy (hubby a bit claustrophobic) so the balcony was the drawcard there .

Glad to hear it's not that far out .

The other I thought of was the soffitel ,but it was just a bit dearer .

Again thank you

You would definitely get more space (and should get more privacy) in an apartment plus the facility to self cater the odd meal/breakfast etc. which can help the budget a bit. The location is good. It's a new residential block - as a matter of interest who is the provider of the vacation let? Bit surprised these are available there so soon tbh.

does not the locaion choice concern post code versus SW 1.versus EC 4 .If so the former is the more atractive writing from someone who had to spend quantifiable time in the latter as a "go fe clerk"..

If you email Intercontinental staff [coy the threatened subject of take over bid) will definitely find or supply you with the info you request. Which Sofitel?

decisions decisions ! Best Regmaiche
