London Eye

Hi, we're visiting London in about a week and a half. I was planning to get London Eye tickets a day before we planned to go if weather was good. I wanted to go during sunset, and I just wanted to confirm that 9:00 was a good time to ride to see the sunset. Has anyone done this before in mid-June, and if so, what time did you go? Thank you!

I have been on the London eye at sunset and didn't care for it. It is hard to see anything. Part of the fun is to see everything on the ground. The main direction it faces across the river looks directly into the sunset. Personally I would go earlier in the day when the sun is high or go after dark- or both- they sell a daytime plus night time ticket.
