No 73 bus from Victoria

Hello, can you advise if the no 73 bus (or others) turn right into Oxforfd St from Park Lane? Will be walking to Stanhope Place and hope not to have to lug luggage up and down the underpass at The North Carriage Drive Ring to Bayswater Rd. Thankyou.

Yes From Park Lane the 73 goes round Marble Arch and then turns right into Oxford Street.

If your destination is Stanhope Place, there are other buses from Victoria that go along Edgware Road, such as the 6, 16, 36 or 436. if you get off at the first stop after Marble Arch you will be very close to your destination.

From Victoria, the 148 also stops on Bayswater Road near Tyburn Convent, which is close to the junction with Stanhope Place.

So if you are going to Stanhope Place, the 73 isn't all that convenient, especially if you have luggage.

One more bus question if you don't mind. In the direction of which suburb does the 148 go (eg. Golders Green) as well as the 6. 16, 36 and 436. Thanks again.
