Australian needing to see a doctor in Notting Hill London

Hello,

If you need to see a doctor, how easy or difficult is it when you're from overseas? A family member said you need to register but it mightn't be easy as I don't live here.

As I'm booked on the Eurostar for this Sunday, I need to see a doctor this week. Pretty sure what I have is Angular Chelitis, but it's slightly different from when I had it back in Australia some years ago. Went to a pharmacy and asked for Kenacomb but he'd never heard of it.

How and where do I find a doctor in the Notting Hill area?

Thank you.

Wouldn't you call your insurance company and have them set something up?

You'd phone a local GP surgery an explain the situation.

Google suggests this might be the place:

Google Kenacomb for its generic name and then try the pharmacist again.

And follow the advice above.

You will need something like Betnovate cream (Clobetasol) and that's only available on prescription..so, yes you will need to see a GP.

Even if Kenacomb was available, it would likely be a POM in the UK.

I daresay medics would know if there is something similar...

I would consider using "Sudocem" for your issue, until a proper professional suggests something better....
