WARNING about EasyBus

Tried to use EasyBus from Gatwick in May. Booked online in advance. Waited over 30 minutes past our scheduled time for first bus to arrive. It was full and driver advised that there was another bus right behind him that would take us. Second bus arrived and driver motioned us to stand aside while he unloaded passengers - however, once unloaded he jumped back in and drove off! Third bus arrives and we explain to this driver what has happened - he informs us that our bus we were booked on was running late and was actually the second bus we saw, that ditched us. Since he was already late, he opted not to load us!!!! This bus driver informs us that he is full, but the next (now fourth) bus will take us. By this point there is a sizeable group of us that are all in the same situation. Fourth bus arrives and tells us that our tickets are now more than one hour past our scheduled time, and so are invalid and he will not take us. Fortunately, the third bus driver (the only one who was kind), was still there and ended up taking us and another group that was in the same situation. Without him, I dont know what we would have done. There is no phone number you can call to complain and absolutely NO customer service. Spend a little more and take a more reliable transport. DO NOT USE EASYBUS!!!!

1. Re: WARNING about EasyBus

Another in a long line of complaints about this shonky bus company.

From Gatwick, take the train to central London. It takes just 30-40 minutes. It costs from just £10 for the Thameslink/FCC service, and ultimately less when you factor in the fact that you can get a train ticket and one day travelcard combination (all your travel in London for the day) from just £13.50.
